The Call of Cthulhu
H.P. Lovecraft’s Main Guy
In "The Call of Cthulhu", H. P. Lovecraft describes "A monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind".
This is my rendition of the Old One. Sculpted with Chavant clay over a simple armature, then moulded as a solid resin statue. The bust, standing at approximately 8" tall, makes a great display piece for any Lovecraft fan and collector, and pop culture aficionados!
