Alright this one was inspired by the Fallout games, and probably a few different movies in which humans are mutated by toxic waste! The hand was first cast and attached to the base, painted using Tim Gore’s Bloodline paints, and clear coated to give it a nice wet look. I then made a mould with fibreglass and cast a mix of tinted resins, both clear and opaque for the radioactive waste. To finish the piece I wet sanded the sides to a glass finish, so all the swirls in the waste were visible. I might add a couple LEDs in the resin to make it pop...
